Dr. Belinda I. Narine is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner whose career is defined by clinical excellence, academic rigor, and an unwavering commitment to expanding equitable access to mental health care. As the Founder and CEO of Aligned Wellness Psychiatry, PLLC, a Black-owned, culturally responsive psychiatric practice, she leads with a mission to deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatment for depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and OCD across diverse communities.

Aligned Wellness Psychiatry is proud to be a REMS-Certified Spravato® Treatment Center, offering FDA-approved S-ketamine (Spravato®) intranasal therapy as well as IV ketamine infusions for individuals seeking rapid, neuroscience-driven relief from treatment-resistant depression and related conditions. Patients may choose between intranasal S-ketamine or IV ketamine based on their goals, clinical profile, and personal preference. Both are delivered within a structured, monitored environment to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

As an ADHD specialist, Dr. Narine also offers full FDA-approved neuropsychological testing (Qbtech), providing objective, data-driven diagnostic clarity for ADHD in adults and adolescents.

Her clinical approach integrates diagnostic precision, individualized psychopharmacology, and supportive therapy—delivered with the empathy, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism patients trust.

Dr. Narine is a respected educator and clinical preceptor, having served as an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University, Molloy University, and Adelphi University. She has mentored and trained graduate-level Nurse Practitioner students from institutions including Molloy University, University at Buffalo, Adelphi University, and St. John Fisher University, contributing to the development of the next generation of advanced practice providers.

Her professional milestones reflect a commitment to service, leadership, and global health. Dr. Narine participated in the 2010 Haiti Earthquake Emergency Response and was honored with the Entrepreneur Award of Distinction at the 4th Annual Health Care Heroes Gala.
Beyond the clinical and academic environment, Dr. Narine is deeply engaged in mental health advocacy. She previously served as Co-Chair of the Mental Health Committee for the Greater NYC Black Nurses Association and is a sought-after speaker at regional and national events. Her recent presentations include Conquering Imposter Syndrome for the African American Caribbean BERG and a featured talk at the 2025 Greater NYC Black Nurses Association Women’s Health Conference, where she addressed the intersection of autoimmune disorders and mental health disparities.

A Journey Rooted in Purpose

Dr. Narine’s transition into psychiatry was both professional and deeply personal. Witnessing a family member’s struggle with severe depression and personally intervening to prevent a suicide attempt, has solidified her commitment to creating greater access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care.

A formative experience watching an ICU nurse save her father’s life later affirmed her calling to nursing as a path for healing, advocacy, and transformative impact.
